This video shows Richard's project he presented at show'n tell at October's meeting. It is variable pich scale 4-blade propeller that is designed for 60-size scale plane. All custom made parts including scale carbon fiber prop blades Richard designed and made himself. Propeller is powered by TURNIGY 50-55B 600kv Outrunner with TURNIGY 80A ESC and TURNIGY 5000mAh 5s 20C LiPo battery. Pitch change lever is powered by 35ozin servo with metal gear. Constant speed prop was programmed on Futaba 8US radio for easy handling this unique operation while flying the plane.
