Bring your large gas (80” or bigger) bird or electric beast to the Mather field for a day of fun, 3D flying, general BS with your fellow pilots and a gourmet (?) lunch.
The field will be open for flying at 8:30. The event will end when you run out of fuel, batteries, patience or planes…. whichever comes first.
Mandatory pilots meeting and safety briefing at 10:00 am.
A landing fee of $20 will be charged to each pilot. This will cover bottled water for the day and lunch. Excess proceeds will be donated to the Mather Aerospace Modelers Club.

Location: Exit Rt. 50 at Sunrise and go south about 7 miles. Once you cross Douglas Blvd go 2 miles and turn right at the stoplight onto Kieffer Road. Go 1 ½ miles until it T’s and turn right onto the dirt road (Eagles Nest) and you will see the field about 300 yards north and on the right side of the road.
