Becoming a member
Required documents:
1 - You must be a member of the A.M.A. Click here to go to their web site. Full, Three-month Trial, or Youth AMA membership is required (Park Pilot membership is not satisfactory). Photocopy of your AMA license is recommended but not required as long as you print your AMA number and your name exactly as it appears on your current (2024) AMA license. Applicant without current (2024) AMA license will be classified as Social Member (" Social Members shall have all rights and privileges of membership except the right to operate and fly a model at the flying field ").
2- You must register your UAS (your models) with FAA (Register Your Drone see section "UAS Flown by Recreational Flyers and Modeler Community-Based Organizations (Formerly Section 336)"). Applicant without current UAS registration will be classified as Social Member (" Social Members shall have all rights and privileges of membership except the right to operate and fly a model at the flying field ").

Failure to properly complete the application process will result in the individual being classified as a "social" (non flying) member. A membership card will not be issued to social members.

Notes:
Dues for members joining the club for the first time are prorated 50% if the member joins between June 30 and October 31. For members joining after October 31 dues and initiation fee paid in full are also applied towards next year dues. These discounts do not apply to members renewing their membership any time after the first year. Renewal dues are to be paid in full, without any discount, regardless of the time of the renewal.
Junior is child of age 18 and under.
Senior is a member of age 65 and over.
Associate member is a member who lives outside of 100 miles area, has no voting rights and can't bring flying guests.
One time $100.00 initiation/application fee applies to new members (excluding Juniors).The initiation fee must be paid with the first year dues.
Subsequent years renewal fees are subject to change as provided in our Bylaws.
